Check with Ed. Marsh (838-9242 or 027-457-0302) about how to get into the squash club before the hordes arrive. Get the combination to open the cupboard.
See Cliff for an initial $100 float for consumables – please keep your receipts. Ask for additional cash if needed.
Check stocks and buy consumables as required.
Instant Coffee – a somewhat better type eg. Moccona is appreciated….
Ordinary Tea Bags – as required but reasonable quality
Green Tea bags – for a couple of our members
Sugar – as required.
Biscuits – mixture of plain and fancy – be somewhat economical but with an occasional treat! Work on about 40 people having two each – 4-6 packets per day.
Milk – Buy one 2 litre – Currently seem to be using about 2x2ltr bottles every 3 days.
On the Day :
Arrive slightly early to :
Set-out cups/Mugs on the formica kitchen bench near the big servery-type window
Set-out tea/coffee/sugar/spoons on the Stainless Steel bench by the water heater.
Check that the water heater is actually working!! If not get out the electric jug…….
Move the Club notice board from the kitchen into the main area – prop it up against the stove chimney for example
Top up the biscuit containers with a mixture of what’s available. Put these out in the main area.
Put out the $$ ”donation” container.
Afterwards :
Give all donations to Cliff.
Return the cups/mugs/containers to their storage boxes and stack these away in the under-bench cupboard near the fridge.
Repack all consumables (especially the sugar) and place in the lower cupboards (the two legged mice get through the drawers). Note any items running short that you will need to buy for next time…….
Take the milk home with you for next time – it gets nicked if left in the fridge…
Take home all used tea-towels. Please wash and dry these ready for next week.
